A break from Physics.

Ahn Nhu. I love you. You're like dew. You are my boo. I think of you in the loo. You're my piano buddy-roo.

Now that we've completed our daily rhyming exercises...

I practiced for an hour today. Well, really fifty-five minutes. I've got the intros to Bedrock, Replay, Right Here Waiting, and Wonderful Tonight down.

Clunkily played through the Rhapsody by Brahms. Tis fun to ignore the dynamic markings and just bang your way through it dramatically.

I registered for subject tests today, too. US History and English in May, Math IIC in June. Bah. Have to take them at Bellarmine and Lincoln, respectively. Should have registered sooner to snag Leigh - foolish girl!

Debussy is most excellent for sight-reading. Please do pass that book down to me. And any others that are collecting dust, if you have any.

Played through Clair de Lune, too. It's starting to sound less like a train wreck and more like the actual piece now. You, of course, would still be horrified at my lack of fluidity, dynamics, and proper technique.

And you know what, I think we should have mandatory weekly videos on each other's walls. To prove that we're practicing, to encourage each other, monitor progress, and be motivated to not suck.

I am listening to Love Me Tender on repeat. Ah, the King. So smooth, so tender.
