Jordan Baker was a sultry kind of person in the movie.
I know with absolute certainty that you will become an EIC next year. Honestly, why not? You have the experience and in my opinion, one of the few articles worth reading. Don't get me wrong, the Eleight is one of the best school newspaper out there but a lot of the writing is terrible... and hopefully you bring the Oxford comma back into journalism.
I thought it was very apparent that the essay was satirical. Especially from the thesis. I deem it worth of a 9... and so did the rest of my class. Her usage of irony had us roaring the entire time.
"Human greed and desire to the forefront, everything else on the back burner!"
GO PRACTICE WOMAN. I don't think I'll actually have any more time to practice today... poo...
Remember our CST review list of 90 terms in World History Honors last year? The US history one is about three times its length... I figured I should start taking a crack at it tonight.
I hear back from Stanford Med on Friday. I'm so nervous, I really hope I become an intern this summer. Cross your fingers for me! I'm so afraid that they'll think I am not worthy... they're only accepting 46 applicants. They must be very selective. If I get in, I'll easily be spending over 40 hours a week working in the lab or attending lectures... which actually sounds very promising and fun!
You know, funny thing is I felt the same way... never appreciated piano that much until two years ago and since then, I've progressed so much... funny how that happens. When I was little, I told my mama, "Joe says I don't need to practice! I'm just THAT good."
Cheeky little thing.
I think Joe and I felt a mutual resentment for each other. He never liked me because I never practiced and I never liked him because he made me play Henry Mancini and smelled like cigarettes.
I feel like making cookies this weekend. What do you think? Snickerdoodles? Or am I better off making cake?
